When do polls close in Virginia?

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone in line by 7 p.m. will be able to vote. You can return an absentee ballot to your local general registrar's office or a drop-off location by 7 p.m. on Election Day; a mailed ballot counts if it is postmarked on or before Election Day (Nov. 3) and received by your general registrar by noon on the third day after the election (Friday, Nov. 6).
