What Where's It On stores, why, and how to delete it. Updated October 7, 2026.
Browsing
You don't need an account to use the site. Your teams, services, products and settings are saved in your own browser (local storage) and aren't sent to us unless you sign in or turn on alerts.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. Pages are served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for security.
If you sign in
Signing in uses your email address and a one-time link; there's no password. We store your email address, your saved lineup (teams, services, products, apps you watch, alert choices, saved cars) and when you last signed in, so your lineup syncs across devices. A cookie keeps you signed in for 90 days.
If you turn on the weekly email, we send it every Thursday. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
If you turn on alerts
Your browser gives us a push address (from Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, depending on your browser) and a copy of your lineup, so we know which alerts to send. If you share your location for weather alerts, it's rounded to about a kilometer. Turning alerts off deletes this.
"I'm having problems" reports
When you report a problem with a service, we store only a count per 15 minutes. To count one report per person, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for two days, never the address itself.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the email. Push services deliver alerts to your browser. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, and we don't show third-party ads.
Deleting your data
On My lineup: "Clear my lineup" erases what's saved in your browser, "Delete my account" erases your account and everything tied to it, and turning alerts off removes this device's alert subscription.
