Forecaster's note
Widespread Moderate AQI conditions due to elevated ozone concentrations are expected across Northern San Luis Obispo County, with the potential for Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) levels in eastern portions of the county. High pressure, hot temperatures, and transport of ozone and ozone precursors from the Central Valley, combined with light surface winds and reduced mixing and ventilation, will allow ozone to build through the afternoon. These conditions are expected to persist through at least Thursday.
