Washington SNAP payment schedule
Washington Basic Food (SNAP) benefits are deposited on one day between the 1st and the 20th of each month. DSHS's eligibility system automatically assigns the day when the case is approved; the date is printed on the approval letter/notice and stays the same every month. DSHS publishes no letter- or digit-based mapping, so a household's date cannot be derived from its name or ID.
Schedule
Based on: day assigned by the DSHS eligibility system at approval (between the 1st and 20th), shown on the approval letter
Weekends and holidays
Food benefits are deposited on the same day each month even if it falls on a weekend or holiday; benefits are available by 6 a.m. Pacific time.
