Texas SNAP payment schedule
Texas staggers SNAP by the EDG number on the case. Households certified on or after May 1, 2023 get benefits between the 1st and 28th based on the last two digits of the EDG number. Households certified earlier keep their original schedule: certified after June 1, 2020 (and before May 1, 2023) = 16th-28th by the last two digits; certified before June 1, 2020 = 1st-15th by the last digit.

Based on: last two digits of the SNAP EDG (eligibility determination group) number; last digit for households certified before June 1, 2020. Which table applies depends on when the household was first certified.
Certified on/after May 1, 2023 (or reapplied after May 1, 2023 following a break in benefits of at least six months) - last two digits of SNAP EDG number
