Maryland SNAP payment schedule
Maryland makes SNAP benefits available on the Independence (EBT) Card on the same day each month, from the 4th through the 23rd, based on the first three letters of the head of household's last name (AAA-BAO on the 4th through WET-ZZZ on the 23rd).

Weekends and holidays
Benefits are deposited on the same day each month; the DHS EBT card brochure (2026) states 'Benefits remain available even on weekends or holidays.'
