Florida SNAP payment schedule

Florida issues SNAP over the first 28 calendar days of each month, including weekends and holidays. The day depends on the 8th and 9th digits of the FLORIDA case number; USDA's state-by-state schedule says to read the 9th and 8th digits backwards (dropping the 10th digit) and lists 28 ranges, from 00-03 on the 1st to 96-99 on the 28th.

Schedule

Based on: 9th and 8th digits of the FLORIDA case number, read backwards, ignoring the 10th digit (USDA FNS wording); Florida DCF describes the key as the 8th and 9th digits of the case number

Weekends and holidays

The ESS Program Policy Manual (section 3210.0202, Staggered Issuance) says EBT food stamps are issued over the first 28 calendar days of each month, including weekends and holidays. DCF's EBT card page adds that benefits are only deposited once a day, by 6 a.m.
