Good to know
WM's holiday page lists nine commonly observed holidays with this year's dates (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) and says holidays may vary by location; an address lookup there shows holidays affecting your service in the next seven days. Its local pages give the rule: a weekday holiday delays collection by one day for the rest of the week, so Thursday customers are collected Friday and Friday customers Saturday. Individual city contracts often observe fewer of these holidays, so the city or address schedule is the final word.
