Good to know
Most U.S. McDonald's restaurants are run by independent franchisees, who set their own holiday hours. McDonald's says most of its restaurants are open on U.S. holidays but hours may vary by location (statements to Fox Business in July 2026 and CBS News in September 2024), so check the McDonald's app or restaurant locator for a specific restaurant. CBS News reported in 2023 that some restaurants close early on Christmas Eve (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/whats-open-christmas-eve-2023/). McDonald's own website blocked automated access, so these entries rely on news reports (Fox Business, CBS News, FOX Television Stations).
From McDonald's announcements and restaurant pages, and news reports of its hours, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Restaurant hours · All holiday hours
