Good to know
Hy-Vee lists store-by-store hours for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day on its holiday store hours page (https://www.hy-vee.com/corporate/our-company/hyvee-holiday-store-hours/); the page carries no year, so check it again closer to the holiday. Individual store pages also list department holiday hours (for example, the pharmacy at Lincoln #1, https://www.hy-vee.com/stores/detail.aspx?s=90, was listed as closed on New Year's Day). CBS News listed Hy-Vee as closed all day on Thanksgiving 2025. No Hy-Vee statement on Easter, Memorial Day, July 4 or Labor Day hours could be found.
From Hy-Vee's announcements and store pages, and news reports of its hours, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Store hours · All holiday hours
