Good to know
The MVC posts a yearly list of holiday closures (2026 is current: New Jersey's 13 state holidays, which include Good Friday, Election Day and Veterans Day) and sends out an advisory a few days before each one; a closure covers agencies, road test sites and inspection stations. Agencies also keep Saturday hours. Online services at NJMVC.gov stay available on holidays.
From the New Jersey MVC's holiday list or its state's holiday schedule, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Office hours · All holiday hours
