Good to know

The MVA's own holidays and closings page refused automated fetches, so these entries follow Maryland's state employee holidays as listed in the Maryland Manual (2026 list). Maryland adds statewide general election days (Nov. 3, 2026; there is none in 2027) and American Indian Heritage Day, the day after Thanksgiving, to the federal holidays. Saturday hours around a holiday may differ by branch; check the MVA's closings page before you go.

From the Maryland MVA's holiday list or its state's holiday schedule, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Office hours · All holiday hours
