Good to know
Costco's U.S. warehouses close on seven holidays every year: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day (Costco customer service FAQ). Costco closes on the holiday itself: when July 4 last fell on a Sunday (2021), warehouses closed that Sunday and were open Monday, July 5 (CNN, https://abc17news.com/news/national-world/cnn-national/2021/07/04/whats-open-and-closed-this-july-4th-weekend/). Hours vary by warehouse; Executive members can shop early on regular days, and gas stations and pharmacies keep separate holiday hours. Each warehouse page in Costco's locator lists upcoming holiday hours and closures. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve hours come from Costco's own warehouse pages (archived copies, 2023-2025).
From Costco's announcements and store pages, and news reports of its hours, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Store hours · All holiday hours
