Good to know
Chipotle closes its restaurants on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day (company statements to Mashed in 2023, CBS News in 2023 and Fox Business in 2025) and has closed early on Christmas Eve (3 p.m. in 2023), New Year's Eve (8 p.m. in 2024, per CBS News) and July 4 (3 p.m. at most restaurants in 2026). Daily Meal reported in November 2025 that Chipotle would be open as usual on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (https://www.thedailymeal.com/2020926/chains-closed-for-the-holidays/), which conflicts with CBS News' report of an 8 p.m. close on New Year's Eve 2024. CBS News listed Chipotle as closed on Easter Sunday 2025 (national and Chicago lists), but no Chipotle statement confirms it. On a normal day most restaurants are open 10:45 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to Chipotle's FAQ (https://www.chipotle.com/contact-us); its store pages showed no holiday hours as of Oct. 9, 2026.
From Chipotle's announcements and restaurant pages, and news reports of its hours, checked October 7, 2026. "Expected" days follow its past practice until it announces them. Restaurant hours · All holiday hours
