Ozone concentrations are expected to reach well into the Moderate/Yellow category for areas north of I-40. Simultaneously, particulate matter concentrations are expected to reach the Moderate category across Oklahoma through Friday, due to ongoing fires in the state. Wind speeds are expected to increase this weekend, which will help tamp down pollutants by early next week.
