Relatively mild and dry conditions will continue the rest of this week, under the influence of high pressure, and air quality should remain in the Green (good) AQI category for both ground-level ozone and fine particle pollution. Yellow (moderate) AQI cannot be ruled out locally, however. As for Saturday, there is some potential for more widespread coarse particle pollution across southwestern Minnesota, where southerly wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph may loft dust and/or crop debris post-harvest.
