The overall weather pattern will continue to promote good air quality across the state through the week, at least in terms of the pollutants we forecast for (ground-level ozone and fine particle pollution). However, this is the time of year when harvesting can result in at least localized reduction in air quality, particularly on windy days. A stretch of sunny and dry days are expected this week, followed by wind gusts of 30 to 40+ mph on Saturday. Portions of southern and western Minnesota, where harvesting has or is taking place, are at greatest risk for at least minor impacts due to coarse
